Seek first the Kingdom of God…more on this subject…

Some more thoughts on Seeking God first.

The cool thing about seeking God first is- God said he will provide for all our needs as we put Him first in our life. Second, when we seek and love God first, God has our back. This is exciting to me. God has my back and he will provide for all my needs. I love it…no worries. Of course you just can not sit on the couch all day and say God will provide. God will lead, guide and direct us in how we should go in our life, but it is our duty to do what God is directing us to do! How awesome is this! Trust and follow God…you will not be disappointed. Just remember when you feel you in your heart you should be doing something it may be God’s gentle leading for you to do it. How do you know if it is God? Pray and ask God for clarification. Also make sure it lines up with God’s word. This is why it is so important to read your Bible. When you know your Bible you will know what lines up with God and what does not.

How do we put God first in our life? First off…PRAY! Ask God everyday to help you seek God first. PRAY several times a day…every hour if you have to, at first. PRAY, PRAY, PRAY. Do this and do not stop praying and you will see and experience amazing things changing in your life!  Listen to what God is leading you to do. Remember we can do all things through Jesus who gives us strength. The Bible says to pray in the name of Jesus Christ so don’t forget this important detail.

A life transformed is a life that is given over to Christ!

Here is a saying I really like and I will share with you…it is by Steven Pressfield

“Ambition, I have come to believe, is the most primal and sacred fundament of our being. To feel ambition and to act upon it is to embrace the unique calling of our souls. Not to act upon that ambition is to turn our backs on ourselves and on the reason for our existence.”

Love in Christ,
